Ashley Marie Ferrell

Ashley Marie Ferrell was born on January 27, 1987 in Houston, Texas. She is the beloved daughter of Curtis and Salinda Artis. Her parents are devasted but know that Ashley is with God.  They are grateful to have had such a special relationship with her, even though her time may have been cut short. Ashley lived her entire life with a rare heart condition, but she never allowed it to slow her down. Ashley Ferrell departed life on Thursday, May 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sandra Davis of Houston, Texas.
Ashley accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She had a personal relationship with him. She attended Harvest Point Fellowship Church in Pearland, Texas.  She graduated from Gulf Shores High School in 2006. 

Ashley loved her family and had a host of friends. She loved her daughter, Zyon with all her heart. Zyon was the center of her mother’s world.  Ashley enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an outgoing, fun-loving young lady with an uncanny ability to make people laugh. She is remembered for being a jokester and could evoke laughter using humor, wit, and sometimes just a funny expression. Ashley’s beautiful spirit will truly be missed. 

Ashley is survived by one daughter, Zyon; parents, Curtis and Salinda Artis; one brother, Joshua Ferrell (Brittany); one sister, Myeisha A. Spears; beloved best-friend Kentrina Robinson; grandfather, Larry Davis; Uncles, Jemale Davis (Jamie) and Jonah Davis (Kristi); Aunts, Shawn Nickerson (Arthur) and Shavon Barras (John); one nephew; one niece; and a host of other relatives and friends.
