Darick Dee Johnican was born as a gift to Helena Mae Banks and Bryant Kent Williams on October 26, 1976. Darick attended Wild Peach Elementary and Graduated from West Columbia High School in 1996. During Darick's free time he enjoyed Drawing, Fishing and Playing Dominoes. At the age of 18, Darick enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Sgt. As part of his service, Darick received The Army Achievement Metal. Darick Dee Johnican went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 29th at 2:20pm at the age of 47 at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Hospital, with family there every step of the way. He is preceded in death by his Father Bryant Kent Williams and grandparents Tom and Dorothy Banks.
Darick leaves to cherish the memories, A devoted Mother, Helena Mae Banks and stepfather John Taylor III of Brazoria, TX; daughters Breonna La'shay Johnican of Allenhurst, Georgia, La-Krisha Johnican and Winner Johnican of Morristown, Tennessee; sons Darick Dee Johnican Jr. of Brazoria, Texas and Issac Johnican of Morristown, Tennessee; sisters Dorothy Johnican {Shamieka} of Beaumont, Texas, Tahika Johnican of Brazoria, Texas, Hurley Fisher {Nora}, Marlena Thompson and Janette McNeal of Houston, Texas; Four Nephews and Ten Nieces; a host of cousins family and friends.
