It was on a cool brisk morning, Monday, March 31, 2003, a beautiful strong little giant of a baby boy named Darius O’Keefe Franklin was born to Kimberly Rhodes and William Franklin Sr. Darius had a way to your heart rather he knew your or not. He was never a stranger to none. If anyone had an affectionate smile, Darius did. His smile would brighten up the room as though no care in the world. He loved hugs, people, friends and above all his family. Family was always dear and true to his heart. His family brought him so much joy and peace when he would see and be with them. In Darius eyes no one was greater than the other. He could not talk to about one of them without adding remarks of the others as well. If you’ve encountered his presence, you would assume he was the happiest kid on earth. Darius will be truly missed. Darius loved sports; basketball and football. He had a knack for always eating. He loved all types of food.
Darius is preceded in death by his father Williams Franklin Sr. and great-grandmother Matilda Tims
