Edwin Hawkins Jr.

On September 22, 1961 in Houston, Texas; a bouncing baby boy was born to Edwin Hawkins Sr. and Paralee Harris-Hawkins. From the day he was born Edwin would bring so much joy to others. He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews. Edwin was an outgoing, fun-loving young man with an uncanny ability to make people laugh. He will be remembered for being a jokester and could evoke laughter using humor, wit, and sometimes just a funny expression. Edwin will always be forever loved and missed. He is preceded in death by parents and nephew Christopher. 

He leaves to cherish the memories his sisters Ethel Hawkins, Janice Hawkins, Elaine Hawkins, and Delinda Hawkins; one brother Corwin Hawkins (Dovalita); special friend Annette Welcome; nieces and nephews Shamitra, La’Kenya, Alfreda, Ja’Nnekka, Jamiann(Babygirl), Sha’Para, Tyrone, Daryl, Reginald, Leonard, Teddrick, Lewis, and Roy; step-children James, Corey, Mark, and Jamey; a host of great nieces and nephews.
