Larry Henry was a native of Sunset/Cankton, Louisiana and a long-time resident of Houston, Texas. Prior to his illness, Larry was employed with IAS Logistics as a Truck driver. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Larry loved playing softball, hunting, cooking, dancing, and hosting family gatherings.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Abbie; one son, Christopher Sr.; two daughters, Adrienne and Brandi all of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Kristina, Maddisyn, Jaden, Christopher Jr. and Bailey; six brothers, Gerald Henry (Elsie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Harold Henry (Eva) of Church Point, LA, John Henry (Elizabeth) of Lafayette, LA, Alvin C. Henry (Swa) of Sugarland, Texas, Wilson Henry (Karen) of Houston, Texas and Nelson Henry (Judy) of Sunset, LA; four sisters, Bernadette Blair of Missouri City, TX, Norma Henry of Sunset, LA, Willie Mae Harris (Rev. Randall) of Houston, Texas and Priscilla Carter (Harold Lee) of Sunset, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph V.H. Henry and the former Amelia Guidy; two brothers, Marvin Chris Henry and Edward James Henry; one sister, Dolores Sampy.
