A beautiful baby girl was born to Jerry Lee Green and Wavie Lee Higgins on February 5th 1941 whom they named Tammera Green. Tammera grew up in the Freeport community where she attended Lanier Middle School and Brazosport High. After high school she attended Brazoport College for a short period of time. When she wasn't spendind time with family, laughing, or talking mess, you could find her reading her favorite novels, playing Candy Crush, or simply doing crochet. Tammera had a heart of gold and would always give even when she didn't have it to give. She love to laugh and enjoyed seeing others happy.
Tammera is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Dasiy Sibley and Andrew John Higgins (AJ); sisters Donzetta Collier, and Sunday Brewington; brothers Elroy Edwards and Waverly Edwards.
She leaves to cherish the memories her daughters Eva Phillips, Lisa Callis (Lethridge) and Alliyah Collins; sons Roy Phillips Jr. and Octavious Wilson; brothers Shedrach Edwards, Eugene Banks, Darrell Banks, Michael Green, Volando Carter, Jerry Green and Stanley Green; sisters Tommie Caldwell, Lawanda Spears, and Sandra Green; grandchildren Ricky Griffin-Tajah, Jhermain Griffin, Layla Griffin, Laylana Callis, O'Shaun Lewis-Phillips, Qwaylon Lewis, and Sh'Mir Lewis; great-grandchildren Amyra Griffin and Ricly Griffin III; a host of neices, nephews, family and friends.
