Tiffiny Jones Obituary

Tiffiny L. Jones was born November 2, 1974  in El Campo, TX to Aaron and Rose Anderson. She wsa their first born. She was raised primarily in Houston, TX and received most of her education there. Other places where she attended public school were El Campo, Dallas, and Rosenberg, TX. She graduated form Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg and went on to attend Sam Houston State University where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. While attending Sam Houston she met and fell in love with Vernon Jones and they were married on February 24, 2001. She was employed with Getronics of Houston, Tx for nearly 8 and half years during which time she held positions in Help Desk Support Managment and Quality Assurance. While employed with Getronics she felt a calling to enter the teaching profession and enrolled into an alternative certification program. She gained employment with the Fort Bend ISD in July 2008 Where she taught business education at Hightower High school in Missouri City, TX and later at Willowridge High School of Houston, TX. She later moved to Lamar CISD where she taught business at George Junior high in Rosenberg, TX. While teaching she decided to pursue her masters in school counseling through Houston Baptist University where she graduated in December 2017.

She excepted Christ and was baptized by the late Reverend Edward Sanford Jr. In April 1998 at Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church of El Campo, TX. She and her husband later joined Pilgrim Journey Baptist church in Richmond Texas under the leadership of Reverend Ned Walker where she increased in knowledge of Christ and was a faithful member. In 2004 they joined the great a new prospect Baptist church of Needville, Texas under The leadership of Reverend author Arthur L. Edwards where she new member orientation classes. She was also a writer and poet who loved to encourage and inspire others through her poems. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her loving affections, husband Vernon Jones; one daughter Meagen Rose Jones of Richmond, TX; two sisters Toshiba Brown of Rosenberg, and Brittany Anderson of Houston, TX; one brother Aaron Anderson Jr. (Ashley) of Richmond, TX; four nephews Ja Darius Anderson, Alphonso Brown, Rollind Brown Jr. of Rosenberg, and Jeremiah Jones of Brazoria, TX; two aunts Helan Ward and Barbara Goodall (Issac) of El Campo, TX; three uncles Kenneth North (Kim) of Missouri City, Kerry North of Wharton, and Claudis Anderson of El Campo, TX; mother-in-laws Elizabeth Godley of Brazoria, and Johnnie Mae Jones of Houston, TX; god-mother Bridget Tyler;  sister-in-law Verda Jones of Freeport, TX; two play neices Marquita Williams and Bobbie Simone Williams of Brazoria, TX; six special long-time friends Livian Newton of Fort Worth, Anetra Fraizer of Wharton, Portia Gladney, D' Carla Sims, Curtavia Bradley, and Samantha Woods all of Houston, TX; a host of friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents Aaron Anderson Sr. and Rose Anderson; paternal grandparents Claudis Anderson Sr. and Nannie Anderson; maternal grandparents Lee Johnson and Dorothy Mae North; step-grandfather Julius M.E. North; aunt Dorothy Terrell; father-law Glenn Godley Jr.
