Vernell (Thomas) Jammer

On September 23, 1957 a beautiful baby girl was born to Wade and Mattie Thomas whom they named Vernell Thomas. She was the tenth child of fourteen children. Vernell grew up in Angleton, TX where she attended Marshall High School. Vernell worked in the medical field in environmental services, she loved her job. Vernell loved to stay dolled up. You would always see her with her nails and hair done. Vernell joined the Bethel Full Gospel Church where she was under the leadership of Pastor Greer. Vernell loved to play cards and spend time with family. Her smile was contagious and could be felt all around the room. Vernell loved her children and always enjoyed the time she spent with them. When Vernell would see her daughter she would always say "Here goes Beyonce". Vernell will always be loved and truly missed.

Vernell was preceded in glory by her parents Wade and Mattie Thomas, husband Charles Jammer; two sisters Rachel and Janet Thomas; brother Roy Thomas; and great-grandson Jaden Pratt 

Vernell leaves to cherish the memories her daughter Shirley Thomas-Lewis (Larry); sons Charles Woods IV, Danny Woods (Sharika), Starsky Woods; sisters Millye, Willie, Betty, Cynthia, and Gladys; brothers Authur, Lionel, Morris, and Roger; grandchildren Marquiez, Christopher, Jakavion, Le' Travion, Daysean, Daysha, Brookly, Cordae, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Josh, Kiara, Keihville, Akira, Keyanna, Christian, Kaden, Armani, Kayla, and Jamisha; great-grandchildren King, Chance, Boss, Armoniee, Caydnn, Camyrnn, Jakayla, Curiah, Cairee, Karsen and Kali
